Manager reveals why Diamond failed to perform in Nairobi

Diamond

Diamond Platnumz and Yemi Alade failed to perform at Tomorrow Leaders’ Festival, an event organised by Morgan Heritage.
The two artists who were the most anticipated at the event are in the country but didn’t turn up. Peetah Morgan announced to the fans that Diamond Platnumz was sick and could not make it.
Well, we reached out to Sallam, Diamond’s manager who said;

MY RESPONSE IS TO TALK TO ORGANISERS CAUSE THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR US BEING HERE. THANKS.
When pressed to give details on what the Inama hitmaker is ailing from. Sallam simply said;

GLAD YOU GOT YOUR ANNOUNCEMENT.
Here is the conversation between Sallam and Radio Africa’s journalist Kalondu Musyimi.

Sallam’s response

Peetah’s announcement came just before Morgan Heritage’s performance and after fans kept on shouting ‘Tunataka Simba.’
Diamond is however not the first WCB artist to fail to perform in Kenya. Harmonize failed to perform in Eldoret over a misunderstanding with the promoter. Mbosso also faced the same problem with a coastal based promoter where he had to cancel his performance.
The Morgan Heritage’s show however continued with stunning performances from Naiboi, Alaine, Stone Bwoy and Jose Chameleone.
