
A photograph of a handsome police officer has been used to convince people to apply for casual work in the department.
The Auckland police officer was snapped displaying his best model-pose while holding open a door at the local police station.
Despite attempts to use the image to welcome job applicants, the photo has caused a stir on social media due to the man’s good looks.



‘Can you sign up and get his phone number for me, thanks babez. Peow peow,’ one person commented.
‘Who’s this guy,’ wrote another with staring eye emojis.
In reference to the police officer’s slick hairdo, one viewer said: ‘Do they pay for the tight fade as well?’
The job description, shared by Counties Manukau Police on Wednesday, also welcomed keen interest about the job.
The post read: ‘We are on the look out for people to provide casual shift work as Authorised Officers in our Custody Units in Counties Manukau and Auckland City’.
‘If you’re interested in finding out more – please head along to our information evening.’


‘You would look good in that outfit,’ one person tagged their friend.
‘Can I drive fast?’ one person asked.
‘Sign me up,’ said another.
The comments on the post also reveal the police officer is married.
