Terryanne Chebet Announces TV Comeback

Metropol TV's General Manager and renowned media personality, Terryanne Chebet, is all set for her on-screen comeback after a 2-year hiatus.

Arguably the region's leading business TV host with an enviable portfolio, Terryanne spoke exclusively on her return to the main screens.

" I'm actually nervous about getting back on the air, despite my experience, the excitement still gets me every single time," the audibly excited businesswoman disclosed.

She went on to reveal that the show dubbed Markets Today would focus on the various trade stocks available in the market, offering insights on viable options following in-depth research and analysis on their end.

"I have always been passionate about business, ever since my early days at KBC, it's a field that gets me going," she divulged.

The former Citizen TV anchor has built her brand by reporting business stories that touch on Kenya as well as the global market as a whole.

Her illustrious career has seen her interview several heads of state such as Paul Kagame of Rwanda, Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto, Former President Thabo Mbeki of South Africa, among other top tier personalities and business moguls.

Terryanne also spoke on her life off-camera, going on to state that the two-year break was instrumental in helping her gain perspective, personally as well as professionally.

"My life behind the scenes was definitely a huge shift but it has been a major learning curve as I was able to focus on other aspects of my life. I was privileged to get a holistic view of all the parts needed for a media house to run and to run successfully," she disclosed.

The mother of two who recently turned 40 (which she celebrated at a classy party), was still as excited to talk about her business show brainchild, as she was when she started out in the field over a decade ago.

"I'll be back on air regularly now, not on the Markets Today show exclusively, but on something that we have been working on, that is set to hit your screens soon," Terryanne asserted.
