Relationships have their ups and downs and Brenda Wairimu and Juliani’s is no different.
In 2017 the actress confirmed that they had at some point taken some time away from each other but would later iron out their differences.
‘’We are happy, we are okay. We were broken up at some point. But I don’t think I’ll ever be that person who will go into details as to why my relationship is working or not working. But at that moment it wasn’t and we needed to have some time out,” she said during a TV interview.
Now, we understand, the couple might have split again.
Speaking to the Pulser, the mother of one said that the dating world has proved difficult and is still trying to learn the ropes.
“Being single is well… different. I was in a serious relationship for 8 years, if not more. I’m slowly learning to date again but not sure when I will be ready for something serious. I have not been on a date lately,” she said.
She also opened up about raising their daughter, Amor and the challenges that come with parenting.
“I know most stories told about motherhood are on the beauty of it. But in all honesty, I am anxious now more that I have ever been, I worry a lot about her (Amor).
If I’m raising her well, if she is safe, how to do better for her , how to be more selfless. Every day is a learning process,” she continued.
The contemporary singer in 2017 said that he had popped the question while in Lamu. A question to which Wairimu said “Yes.”
“Yes, I’m engaged to Brenda. We don’t have a wedding date yet, one step at a time. I felt it was important to have a family,” he told Shaffie and Adelle.
“I think first of all the only thing I want to say is that throughout our relationship, I had different experiences, Brenda and I had a lot of issues and we were not together for a while. And then I felt there is the importance of a family and a foundation… a place we call home, a place where you can lay your head. I realized I needed to make a decision and make things happen,” he said.
