‘Believing in God, only option,’ cries Zaheer Jhanda after gold scam exposé

Zaheer Jhanda’s name has been making headlines in the past week. He was mentioned in the much talked about gold scam case, where a member of the royal family in Dubai was conned millions.

Zaheer, a popular politician, who unsuccessfully vied for the Nyaribari Chache parliamentary seat in 2013, came out to clear his name.

He told Citizen TV that his involvement with the saga was only advisory based.

He also told the media house that the gold in question was not even in the country and was still in Congo, awaiting transportation.

WE ARE WAITING FOR THE GOLD TO COME FROM CONGO SO THAT WE ARE ABLE TO EXPORT IT TO DUBAI.

He is married to Aliyah and they’re blessed with three kids. Zaheer had also married socialite Amberay but parted ways a few months ago.

Confirming their separation, Amberay said;

I WOULD LIKE TO INFORM YOU THAT I AM NO LONGER MARRIED TO ZAHEER MERLAHI JHANDA AND NO ONE SHOULD LINK ME TO HIM OR HIS FAMILY IN WHATEVER WAY. IT HAS BEEN A GREAT COUPLE OF YEARS DESPITE THE CHALLENGES THAT I HAVE COME ACROSS, I APOLOGIZE TO MY SON AND MY FAMILY FOR ALL THE INSULTS THEY HAVE HAD TO BEAR IN THE PAST BECAUSE OF MY DECISIONS.

The controversial businessman has now turned to God for help. In his latest post, he wrote;

BELIEVING IN THE ALMIGHTY GOD AND
BEING STRONG IS THE ONLY OPTION.

Zaheer is a Muslim and the religion refers to the mighty as Allah. Only Christians use God. Did he change to Christianity overnight?
