Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru’s husband, lawyer Kamotho Waiganjo, has narrated his ordeal after a man accused him of trying to snatch his wife.
Waiganjo, who recently hit news headlines when he married Waiguru in a traditional wedding in Kirinyaga, said he was called by an agitated man who asked him to leave his wife alone or else he will see fire.
“So I get this call from an agitated husband telling me to leave his wife alone. Who’s this nut I wonder? His evidence? He’s gone through her phone and I send M-Pesa to her regularly,” wrote Waiganjo on his Facebook page.
But he dismissed the man on grounds that he was just being nonsensical, but out of curiosity, he asked him to provide the evidence by sharing the phone number.
When shared the number, Waiguru’s husband was shocked to find out that it belonged to his two daughters’ hairdresser who is in Kenyatta Market.
“Of course I say that’s nonsense then out of curiosity I ask for her number ..,turns out she’s my two daughter’s Kenyatta Market hairdresser so of course I m-pesa her regularly …..” he added.
The agitated man apologized to Waiganjo out of embarrassment and vowed to never to repeat that again.
