State House boss Nzioka Waita links deletion of Uhuru’s pages to war on corruption

State House Chief of Staff Nzioka Waita has linked the deactivation of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s social media handles to the war against corruption.
Waita said Kenyatta’s social media pages were deactivated to resolve unauthorized access.
He later added that the war on corruption was causing “all manner of reactions” making reference to the last tweet the head of state made against corrupt officials in his government.

It seems the President’s stand on corruption has generated all manner of reactions,” Waita stated.
The State House boss did not elaborate on the nature of unauthorized access to the President’s twitter, Facebook, and Twitter pages.
On account of unauthorized access to the official social media handles of H.E the President of the Republic of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta .All official social media handles for the President have been temporarily suspended to allow for the necessary remedial measures to be undertaken,” he tweeted.
The last tweet on the President’s twitter account drew passionate reactions from Kenyans over its tough language against graft.

"If you are corrupt we will fight you. You can be my brother or my sister or my closest political ally, but if you are corrupt we will fight you,” the President said in the viral tweet.
