Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni visited the former Kenyan Head of State Daniel Arap Moi, who is allegedly in hospital, on Friday as he concluded his three-day official tour in the country.
He also paid a visit to the Ugandan National Assembly Speaker Rebbeca Kadaga, who was flown from Kampala to Nairobi for treatment a few weeks ago and is recuperating at a Nairobi hospital.
After the hospital visit, Museveni went to the Kenyatta Mausoleum where he paid homage to the first Kenyan president Mzee Jomo Kenyatta.
"This morning, as I end my three-day state visit to Kenya, I visited the mausoleum where founding President Jomo Kenyatta rests and paid my respects. I also visited Mzee Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi and our Speaker, Rebecca Kadaga, who are in hospital. I wish them a speedy recovery,” Museveni tweeted.
Museveni seemingly indicated that Moi was in hospital; something the family had kept as top secret.
