Remove your suit, Coast is hot, KOT tell Museveni over attire

Uganda's president Yoweri Museveni arriving at the airport.

Kenyans on Twitter on Wednesday bashed Uganda President Yoweri Museveni's attire after his arrival in Mombasa.

Museveni who is on a two-day State visit to Kenya landed at the Moi International Airport wearing a black suit, a yellowish tie and his trademark cream hat.

This was a very "official" attire compared to that of President Uhuru Kenyatta who wore a white linen shirt and a black trouser.

Even as Museveni greeted President Uhuru Kenyatta and other officials at the airport, Kenyans asked if Museveni had been advised on the weather at the Coast.

According to the weather forecast, it is 33 degrees in Mombasa and the dress code of any person visiting the place is likely to be light clothes as compared to a full suit.

In Mombasa the only time it is cool is during the night, when there is the sea breeze.

But, not all nights are cool and therefore light clothes are ideal since they allow your body to cool faster.
