Rapper Khaligraph is not happy with the media following Chris Kanati’s death. Kantai passed on Wednesday at the age of 42 years leaving the industry in shock.
Jones, who tried to help his mentor back into the music business a year ago, was furious the media mourned the rapper so much yet they weren’t ready to help him while suffering depression.
“Let’s Stop waiting for our pioneers to die so that we can talk about how they are legends and inspired us while they were alive, I know some Artists who paved the way for us who are undergoing through depression right now, Lets help them now, Rest in Peace Kantai #RESPECTTHEOGS,” said Khalighraph.
Three years
Chris Kantai died while undergoing treatment at St. Francis Hospital in Kasarani on Wednesday morning. It has been three years since the Jones worked with him but media, according to Jones ignored him.
“This is 3 years ago when I did a song with the Late Kris Kantai but instead of the media motivating during his comeback, they only talked about how miserable he was cause of alcoholism even after he was done with rehab and was fully reformed,” read part of the post.
