The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) on Wednesday showed its wild side after posting a picture of two rhinos engaging in coitus at the Nairobi National Park.
The photo was captioned: “What's a Wednesday afternoon timeline without a little romp? Talk about Sex and the City!” and had attracted a number of reactions within a short time.
While a section of netizens questioned the purpose of the tweet, others commended their daring act – considering moral police Ezekiel Mutua does not
Economist David Ndii also weighed in on the matter and castigated the KWS for their ‘shameful’ tweet.
“Shame on you at @kwskenya Kenya is a conservative society. @EzekielMutua what say you?”
As expected, the KFCB chairman was tagged on most of the tweets but KWS played down the consequences of their bold act saying,” Uh-oh, Dennis. Snitches get stitches”.
Some netizens saw humour in the tweet while others stated that the tweet showed the extent of moral decadence in society.
“Ghaaaii... What happened to ethical language?”
“what a shame deserves a pull down”
“Beautiful picture, beautiful caption”
“Learn to take a joke once in a while”
“This is the image of incompetence of people in Government. despicable!”
