Former Sports CS Rashid Echesa Muhammed has claimed that no leader from western region is interested in pushing the government to explain his sacking.
According Echesa, leaders from Western have abandoned him at his hour of need.
“I have a family, I have a following of people and friends asking questions which I can’t answer,” said Echesa last Saturday during the burial service of the late former acting managing Director of Nzoia Sugar Michael Kulundu at Khabukoshe village in Matungu Mumias subcounty.
He also reckoned that his own children are burdening him with questions on why he no-longer enjoys state power.
“People are asking what I did to Uhuru (sic). Even my own children are asking me why I was fired,” he asked.
But despite his predicament, Echesa said he would continue occupying front row seats in every event held in Mumias sub-county and he must be accorded respect as the first minister from the Wanga Kingdom.
“Mimi nimekuwa waziri kwenye hii serikali, sijakuwa mtu mdogo bana. Respect me even if you can’t respect my Wanga clan,” he said.
