A suspect was, on Tuesday evening, arrested after he was caught stealing at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters.
The man, Wilson Kithome Muinde, 35, was busted attempting to steal a spare wheel from a vehicle that was parked outside the headquarters.
"Mr Wilson Kithome Muinde aged 35 years was arrested yesterday and arraigned in court today for attempting to steal a spare wheel from a vehicle parked outside the (DCI) Headquarters," posted on social media.

On February 1, the DCI also arrested three senior officials from an alcoholic drink maker located in Thika.
The three were, reportedly, found in possession of thousands of fake Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) stamps and the sleuths confiscated several cartons of unaccustomed alcoholics spirit.
The three officials were identified as Phrabhu Sethu (36), Kennedy Ng’ang’a Gitau (30), and Shadrack Mutinda Muinde (26).
They were later presented before the Thika Law Courts and charged with tax evasion among other offences.
The sleuths confirmed that they would continue investigating the matter in a bid to nab more suspects.
“Detectives investigating the case were granted custodial orders by the Thika Court. Investigations continue to nab all those involved,” communication from the Directorate concluded.
