Ben Kitili and his wife Amina Mude are expecting their second child. The wonderful news was revealed on Amina’s Instagram page.
In it, the mother of a daughter divulged that the couple would soon be welcoming a bundle of blessings. Her caption read:
BEST DAYS OF MY LIFE. I CAN’T WAIT TO HOLD YOU AND LOVE YOU FOREVER #HAPPYGIRL.
It appears her due date is quite close. Her post comes after she recently castigated her haters for directing abuse at her first-born, Ruby. She wrote:
ANYONE WHO KNOWS ME, KNOWS THAT THE INSULTS AND BACKLASH I CONSTANTLY FACE FROM PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY MY MUSLIM SISTERS AND BROTHERS, DOESN’T AFFECT ME. DAYS LIKE THIS I HAVE TO ADMIT THAT MY HEART IS HEAVY, INSULT ME ALL YOU CAN BUT NEVER CROSS THE LINE AND ABUSE MY PRECIOUS DAUGHTER.
She continued:
SHE IS SWEET, KIND, SUCH A FREE SPIRIT. I WANT HER TO GROW UP KNOWING THAT SHE IS BEAUTIFUL, STRONG AND NO MATTER HER RELIGION/TRIBE, SHE CAN BE ANYTHING SHE WANTS. SHABS ABDI AND PEOPLE LIKE YOU, KINDLY REMEMBER THAT INNOCENT CHILDREN CANNOT AND WILL NEVER BE JUDGED BY THEIR PARENT’S ACTIONS. LET’S BE KIND TO ONE ANOTHER, RESPECT PEOPLE’S DECISIONS. ISLAM IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL RELIGION, DON’T MAKE INNOCENT CHILDREN RUN AWAY FROM IT. THIS NEGATIVELY HAS TO STOP. LET’S MAKE THIS WORLD A SAFE SPACE FOR OUR CHILDREN.
Ben and his wife Amina tied the knot in November 2018 in an AG wedding. The news elicited mixed reactions with some critics against the union because of the different religious backgrounds that the couple had come from.
DJ John of Homeboyz and his wife, the Trend host Amina Abdi, are a testament to the fact that two people of different religions can meet and have a successful marriage. Amina said in the past that she could not get married to a non-muslim. The couple has a son – Tumi – together.
