Controversial Church lady Lucy wa Ngunjiri, who has, for the last 17 years hosted one of the biggest evangelical radio shows in Kenya is now at the centre of a billowing storm that my just blow away her Church.
The Gikuyu Pastor and Evangelist, who hosts a gospel morning show on Kameme FM every Sunday morning, is said to be involved in an illicit affair with fellow preacher and Pastor Bishop Godfrey Migwi who also happens to host a show on the same station every Wednesday evening.
Despite the fact that she is married with children, reports reaching us indicate that Pastor Lucy wa Ngunjiri has been in a romantic relationship with flamboyant Kayole Bishop Godfrey Migwi and she has even paid him a visit at his church in Kayole, House of Hope on several occasions.
Lucy wa Ngunjiri is the founder of the hugely-popular Church Prayers Beyond Boundaries conspicuously located at the City Primary School grounds in Ngara.
The famous church has now split into two. And two factions have already come up to run either wing of the Church.
Quickly, Lucy has been losing hold of the Church she founded as her steamy secret affair to the Kayole Man of God continues to rock the Church and cause unprecedented acrimony amongst her followers.
” What is particularly shocking is the fact that both are married. Lucy is married and Bishop Godfrey is married too. So, we don’t understand why they are now in an affair! It’s unbelievable! The revelations have shocked the congregation and split her Church. This is going to be the biggest Church scandal of 2019”, a source who worships at Lucy’s PBB Church said anonymously.
Both preachers are said to be flagrantly wealthy with a fleet of high-end vehicles and immeasurable properties across the City.
Lucy is also said to be hardheaded and very arrogant and can also be remembered as the lady who almost blocked Raila Odinga’s illegal swearing in at Uhuru Park last year when she booked the grounds for her own Church crusade on the same day as CORD.
People who we spoke to on condition of anonymity also said that the two have been spotted on several occasions in various high-end eateries and restaurants in some of the city’s famous malls.
Looks like everything that’s done in the dark eventually comes to light. And the it doesn’t make sense that two Church Leaders would not be familiar with that seminal Bible verse.
