A post-mortem report of Kenneth Abom, a 19-year old student reportedly involved in a scuffle with rapper Octopizzo, has been released.
The autopsy revealed that Abom suffered multiple fractures on his head, limbs, and abdomen after falling on Thursday.
Family members of the Strathmore University student had blamed the musician for causing the death indicating they were waiting for autopsy details to uncover the.truth
The reports seemingly support the position of the rapper, who claimed he had not assaulted the young man, and that he was not responsible for his death.
Abom's father claimed the teen had apparent injuries on the head when he came home after an alleged scuffle with the rapper an hour before he jumped from the fourth floor of their apartment building in Woodley Estate.
Reports by neighbours, according to the Daily Nation, also indicated that the local musician did not mishandle the boy in any noticeable manner that would cause his death.
A neighbour, named Ruth Wanjira, however, indicated that there was a scuffle between Abom and the musician at around noon.
She noted, “We heard the scuffle when Octopizzo was holding him outside the gate. The rapper was calling neighbours to help him identify the man because he thought he was a thief.”
“One hour later, we heard someone screaming from a house located on the fourth floor of an apartment located 500 meters from Octopizzo’s house. The boy had jumped from the bathroom window. Octopizzo was not in their home,” another neighbour stated.
A statement by the musician indicated that he noticed the teenager entering his house unwelcomed while he was alone in his bedroom. He asked him to identify himself but got no response.
“I chased him out of the house and neighbours identified him. Actually, his father was the first person I talked to after the incident. I did not know why he came to my house. An hour later, we heard that the boy dropped from the fourth floor,” explained the musician.
