he Dusit attack was a tragic event that left many Kenyans wondering how much hate some could harbour in their hearts in order to perpetuate such a vicious act?
Despite the consternation many were feeling, there was also a sense of pride at the way Kenyans had closed ranks in a show of patriotism and brotherly love in the midst of such carnage and destruction.
There were many such scenes of valour, especially from our security officers and first responders. Men like Inayat Kassam and SAS trainer who came to aid the police, immediately after calls for help were issued, have already been praised.
But one man that is slowly getting our attention is a police officer who goes by the names of Ali Kombo. The officer led and saved Kenyans, many of whom were seating ducks by shielding them with his body.
The officer who showed his expertise led the column of desperate and mortified Kenyans to safety. The resulting outpouring of praise for the man is entirely warranteed if you ask me.
