Finance manager, who wrote ill Facebook post after Dusit attack, arrested
A 32-year-old man, who posted to his Facebook page ill remarks against Muslims – after the January 15 Riverside terror attack –, has been arraigned in court.Morris Wachira Wanjohi, who is a finance and administration manager at Oserian Fair Trade, appeared before Nakuru Chief Magistrate Josephat Kalo.
The suspect, who was charged with inciting the public against Islamic religion, pleaded not guilty.
On January 17, Wanjohi took to Facebook to post fake Quran verses, claiming that that they encouraged members of the Islamic religion to terminate lives.
His post came just two days after four terrorists stormed Riverside Drive complex and killed 21.
The suspect was released on a bond of Ksh100, 000 or a cash bail of Ksh50, 000.
The case will be mentioned on February 28 and a hearing would follow on April 4
