Suspected Kidnapper Of Italian Aid Worker Silvia Romano Arrested

Police in Tana River on Monday arrested Ibrahim Aden Omar, suspected to be behind the kidnapping Italian aid worker Silvia Romano in Kilifi. Ibrahim was arrested at 7:00PM with an AK 47, two magazines and 100 bullets.

Gunmen kidnapped the 23-year-old Italian on November 20, shooting and wounding a woman and four children in the incident. She worked at an orphanage in Chakama, Malindi.

A series of arrests have been made since the kidnapping.
