Wizkid who will be performing in Nakuru this weekend at the Katika festival was supposed to make an appearance at the B-club.
And our desk understands that his (Wizkid) management received payment for it. A clean KSh 250,000 according to documents in our possession.
B-club management also told us that an amount had also been wired to the Katika Festival organisers ahead of Wizkid’s arrival in Nairobi. It was in the sum of KSh 1.1 million.
The past 2 weeks agreement between Bclub and Katika Festival was that Wizkid would make an appearance at the Galana Plaza-located club on the night of Thursday, November 1,2018 and a video drop sent asap but did not take place.
As at 2AM on the said night,neither Wizkid nor his organizers had showed up at the club despite their previous agreement.
In effect, the lush club’s management has threatened to sue Katika Festival for damages and reneging on their contract since its alleged that they were even offered Emirates Flight tickets to ensure that Wizkid could make it on time yesterday.
The management also demands that Katika explains during its press conference today, why the artist did not show up at the club as agreed and advice if Wizkid can turn up tonight at Bclub instead of a Pool Party that his manager was requesting for.
