Three years after he was first exposed, Dr Mugo Wairimu was on the limelight again and this time he was caught on camera operating quack clinics in Kayole, Nairobi.

Born James Mugo Ndichu alias ‘Dr Mugo Wairimu’ was accused by a woman who spoke to Okari, of sedating and raping her.

In the investigative piece, Mugo Wa Wairimu was also caught operating an unlicensed clinic and still walking around scot free.

In the chilling expose, the rogue Mugo was caught injecting himself with an unnamed substance to get high and also accused of smoking Marijuana in the premise.
What shocked viewers was that Mugo wa Wairimu did this while in the clinic where his patients were treated and he would sleep until the drug's effect wore off.
At one point during the filming of the investigative feature, the quack doctor was caught on camera injecting himself with the controlled substance in the presence of his employees.
The clinic was also very unsanitary, with dirty utensils piled in the wash area where they washed equipment used on patients.
According to Okari's narration, the fridge used in the clinic was smelly and disgusting enough although it acted as storage for his patient's food and fruits.

In October 2015, Mugo wa Wairimu was first charged with rape, illegally administering an unknown drug and operating as a pharmacist without a license from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
However, Police stated that the fake doctor could not be charged with rape for lack of forensic evidence and witness statements.
