
Socialite and businesswoman Zari Hassan has been appointed as Uganda’s Tourism Ambassador under the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities.
Zari, who is a Ugandan national but resides in South Africa is set to begin working to promote Uganda’s tourism, wildlife and cultural heritage.
The mother of five had hinted on her social media that she is working on something with the Ugandan Ministry of Tourism,
“Planning something big at the Ministry of Tourism and wildlife Uganda with Minister Godfrey Kiwanda….. For the love of my beloved country,” she posted on Instagram.
Zari, is also the CEO of Brooklyn Colleges in South Africa, a business that she started with her former husband, Ivan Semwanga and was one of the Judges in the Miss Uganda beauty pageant.
She is also the Softcare diapers brand ambassador in Tanzania.
