Slain University student Sharon Otieno’s burial underway [PHOTO]

Slain Rongo University student Sharon Otieno is set to be laid to rest at her grandfather’s home in Magare Village, Kanyabala location on Friday October 19, 2018.
Top political leaders among them NASA leader Raila Odinga are expected to be in attendance.
The mutilated body of Sharon Otieno was found dead at Kodera forest on September 5, 2018.
Meanwhile, Migori Governor Okoth Obado and his co-accused Michael Oyamo and Caspal Obiero remain in remand prison until October 24 when the court will rule on their bail application.
On October 8, the trio pleaded not guilty to the murder of 26-year-old Sharon Otieno.
The three are also facing a fresh count of murder after the court allowed the prosecution to amend the charge sheet to include that of Sharon Otieno’s baby.

Earlier, Sharon’s family had indicated that she would not be laid to rest until her killers were prosecuted.
