What do your friends say about you under the cover of anonymity? Is it something good or is it something that you wouldn’t be proud of?
Well, Jacque Maribe now knows. The Citizen T.V anchor who hobnobbed with the high and mighty including this countries president has been on a rollercoaster ride the past month after Monica Kimani’s homicide.

The investigations after her death revealed that Jacque’s fiance Jowie might have been involved in the murder. And shock on us as it later transpired that Jacque herself might have also been involved. Her role exactly we are still not sure about.

But apart from that most people want to know the type of woman that Jacque was? Not the heavily made-up one we see on our screens but the one who only close friends saw. Well, some close friends spoke to the Nairobian about the screen siren. One close friend described her as:
SHE IS SMART, VERY SMART AND IS VERY KIND.
Another friend tried to explain who Jacque really was. She told the Nairobian:
THOUGH SHE COMES ACROSS AS UPPER-MIDDLE CLASS OWING TO THE GLAMOUR THAT COMES WITH TELEVISION, JACQUE IN REALITY JUST THE SIMPLE GIRL-NEXT-DOOR.

The familiar added that:
SHE COMES ACROSS AS ALOOF BECAUSE OF HER PREFERENCE TO HANG OUT WITH PEOPLE WHO HAVE CONNECTIONS.

Apparently, those connections and her work ethic are how Jacque was been able to scale the career ladder quickly. How could such a smart girl then fall for Joe, who is now considered a blight on her once ascendant career?

A close friend describes Jacque’s heart on her sleeves for her falling for the mercenary. The ally told the Nairobian:
SHE WAS HOPELESSLY IN LOVE WITH JOWIE.
And even under the limelight of her high profile career, Jacque was an over-protective mother of her son, Zahari. But how has the sudden downturn in her fortunes affected her? A confidant explained to the Nairobian:
SHE IS EMOTIONAL, BREAKS INTO TEARS EASILY BUT IS ALSO VERY STRONG AND RARELY SHOWS EMOTION WHEN IN TROUBLE, LIKE NOW.

The friend even remembers how Jowie was able to woe Jacque, from buying flowers for her, driving her to and from work. A romance that looked great from the outside.

But now, the partners in love are staring at an abyss of jail-time. How this will end for Jacque?
