This is the exact predicament facing a section of children from a Mombasa-based church, who have shunned school for religious reasons.
In a video seen by TUKO.co.ke that is fast going viral, the minors led by a pre-teen explain that they do not value education for the simple fact that the Bible does not encourage it.
The children who are being questioned by an astonished adult confidently denounces school, adding that their parents have no say in their decisions because they are religious.
“WE DON’T GO TO SCHOOL, WE DON’T GO TO HOSPITAL BECAUSE THEY ARE WAYS OF THE WORLD,” ONE CONFIDENT CHILD SENSATIONALLY DECLARED.
According to the little ones, education is not part of God’s plans so they do not prioritise it.
