Citizen TV journalist Jacque Maribe underwent a mental assessment on Thursday and has been declared fit to stand trial.
Maribe and her fiancé Joseph Irungu alias Jowie will take plea on Monday as was scheduled.
The duo are to face charges of murder after Monica Kimani was found dead in her Kilimani apartment on September 20.
Jowie, the main suspect in the case, was arrested on September 24 after police placed him at the scene of the crime.
CCTV footage also showed that he had used Maribe’s car to get to Lamuria Apartments on Kitale Lane, off Denis Pritt Road.
He later used the same car to apparently pick Maribe from a nightclub in Kilimani before they went to their Lang’ata home.
On Tuesday, the court ordered that Maribe be detained at the Lang’ata Women’s Prison while Jowie is at the Industrial Area Remand Prison.
